Karazen Review: Cream Puffs have been extremely popular in parts of Japan, now it has taken over New York. The specialty of this famous bearded Japanese chain is their cream puffs. Made with an unusual shell that’s part choux pastry and part pie dough. Beard Papa's cream puffs consist of a two-layer shell. The inner shell is a choux pastry shell and the outer shell is a piecrust. It is this special-structured shell which makes bear papa's cream puffs so unique. Then the Crunchy puffs are filled with whipped cream custard every time an order is placed. Add a sprinkle of powder sugar over them and they are ready to be served! They have many different flavors of custards. The original vanilla is their main specialty. But, do try their other flavors of the day. From green tea, to chocolate, to sesame. They all have its unique tastes.
Tip: Beard papa's cream puffs taste best eaten immediately.

Cream Puffs are great any time of the day. You can have it for breakfast, lunch. dinner. or as a snack. I just love them.
