Sammi Cheng's "Show Mi" 2007 Concert Sold Out in Hong Kong

Sammi Cheng is in the midst of preparing for her new album and concert. It has been nearly 3 years since her 2004 <Sammi VS Sammi Concert>. Sammi will be focusing on her work again and has a thorough plan for the year. She has announced to hold a concert in May (4 shows) and ticket prices are HKD480, 300, 200 and 100. Her concert is similar to the artistes under East Asia including Leon Lai and Janice where the most expensive ticket is priced at HKD480. In conjunction with her upcoming concert, Sammi will be releasing an album soon. 

Sammi who has not held any concerts for the past 3 years will be holding her <Show Mi 2007 Concert> from 18th to 21st May. A spokesperson from East Asia said that the response for internal booking was overwhelming.

There is no denying on the star power of sky queen Sammi Cheng. Sammi who recently resumed work will be holding 4 concert shows from May 18th to 21st. Fans are obviously thirsty for Sammi's singing as presale (via Bank of China credit card) for 12000 tickets of various price range were swept up in 1 day! Due to the incredible demands, on the 2nd day, Bank of China offers an addition 1500 ticket of the $200 variety. Internal East Asia booking of expensive tickets have exceeded by well over a thousand. Consequently, everyone is hoping that Sammi will agree to more shows, otherwise, they really have no idea how to distribute the tickets.

Many fans have also called the ticket office regarding the public sales date as they wish to prepare to camp out at HK Coliseum. For the safety of fans, the organization has decided not to announce the public sales date early as they do not wish them to camp outside the coliseum for days ahead. When Sammi learned of her fans plan, for safety reason, Sammi's advice her fans to do so in a large group manner.

Additionally, the unveiling of the new single Long Live Love MV was suppose to have occurred this past Sunday at Time Square. However, due to bad weather, East Asia personnel decided to delay the event.

Sammi who is not in the limelight often lately said, "I am very happy for such a tremendous response. Thanks for all the support. I am quite shocked and I have decided not to turn on my mobile phone because I know my dance teacher and stylists will all be asking to book tickets by the hundreds. Of course I am happy to hear it but it has also given me a headache. In order not to be in a situation where I am only able to help some and not others, I have turned off my phone lately so if there are any matters, please contact my assistant". When asked if she will schedule additional shows, she said she will have to check the schedule because the production is huge this time so it will a long time to set up the stage. As such they will have to discuss with the organizer. Sammi disclosed that this concert will have a dance theme. She said, "If you look back at my 2004 concert, there was less dancing so during the meeting a few days ago, I told my dancing instructor, Alan that I want to dance a lot this time !" Although there are still 2 more months before her concert, Sammi is already preparing for it. She said, "I have been training rigorously lately. I work out 4-5 hours everyday and hopefully this time I can show off some muscles". When asked if there will be revealing clothes, she said that if she gets good results from working out, everyone can be assured that she will not keep it to herself.
