Jay Chou sometimes take up to 12 painkillers a day
Alfa
Record’s General Manager, Yang Jun Rong, has expressed
outrage and injustice over recent reports of Jay Chou
falsifying his medical data in order to evade military
service. “No one understands the pain that Jay goes
through every time there is an attack, sometimes, when
it is really serious, he will even take up to 12
pain-killers in a day before he goes on stage to
perform.”
Alfa
Record’s General Manager Yang Jun Rong has also said
that he will take lawful action against the papers that
published that story of Jay faking illness to evade
service. He said, “Jay is an important personnel (of the
company) and is a superstar, there wouldn’t be a problem
of going for a medical re-examination, but to wrongfully
frame him, is an insult.”
Yang
Jun Rong also said that Jay has received a military
letter back in 1987 informing him of the illness (acute
back pain), “If that medical record was falsified, why
wait till now for a re-examination?” Since Jay was able
to provide the letter of excuse from service and the
medical record as well as doctor's examination report,
which were very well prepared and authentic, the
appointed attorney has expressed that there has been no
such request from the military for a re-examination.
As Jay
is a very famous singer, trouble and accusations follows
him everywhere, even the illness that he suffers from is
being scrutinized. Yang Jun Rong expressed his care and
concern for Pres Chou, “Actually, he has been suffering
from the painful attacks these few years. This is
something nobody can understand. From this incident, I
hope everyone can see and understand the pain and
sacrifice that Jay has made is not easy.”
Alfa
Music’s Media Relations Manager, Zhang Lan Yun said,
“This illness is not a form of paralysis, the doctor has
suggested for Jay to continue working out his body as
the best form of recovery. Jay has a strong character,
every time he suffers from an attack, he will take the
pain killers and endure the pain. He has been visiting
the doctor every once in a while to get the necessary
medications and pain killers. The medical records are
rather complete and authentic.”
Yesterday, the record company has reviewed the documents
from the medical examination that Jay took in Xin Guang
Hospital in 1987, including documents on his white blood
cell count the inflammation index, etc. and finally the
medical slip that stated the medical condition that Jay
suffers from (acute back pain) and the military letter
in 1988 that stated that Jay is excused from service.
