Gary Cao arrested for assaultl

Singer Gary Cao was arrested in Hong Kong on Friday for attacking Canto-pop singer and good friend Justin Lo in a drunken street brawl.
Cao, 30, who was arrested for alleged common assault, was not immediately charged and has been released on bail, Shanghai Daily reported.
A police spokesman said investigations are still ongoing and the Malaysian singer has been asked to report back to the police in November.
Cao could face a maximum penalty of one year's jail in Hong Kong.
The star was caught on camera punching and kicking Lo outside a bar in the Central district on September 23. He even attempted to attack Lo with a road sign. Footage of the fist fight has been widely circulated on the Internet.
Cao has repeatedly apologised for his behaviour and has promised to seek professional help for his drinking problem.
The singer has cancelled a series of concerts in Hong Kong in November to prevent any "awkward situations on stage".
