Why
do I need to Register?
You need to register to gain access to all of Karazen resources. This includes Karazen Pinyin lyrics, getting credit for any submissions, rating your favorite songs, albums, movies, Karaoke and restaurant hotspots, as well as posting in our forums.
What
are pinyin lyrics and romanized lyrics?
Pinyin Lyric is the proper term for transliterating mandarin lyrics into the Roman alphabet. Romanized lyrics are the proper term for transliterating Cantonese lyrics into the Roman alphabet. To be more uniformed, we will be using the term "pinyin lyrics" for both here at Karazen. Please note that the pinyin are for Cantonese and Mandarin dialects. The pinyin phonetics is based on North American English pronounciations. (for ex; if you are in the UK, you may pronounce some words slightly different). We try our best to accommodate different countries. However, Karazen has a consistent system for the pinyin, it definitely works effectively by process of getting used to the standardized pinyin.
How
do I submit in pinyin lyrics?
We are currently not taking any submissions for pinyin lyrics. But we are taking submissions for English translations of all songs in our database. Moreover, Karazen will also accept the Chinese lyrics by itself to aide in the pinyin process.
How come the web page is not viewing properly?
Karazen.com is optimized for best viewing at 1024 x 768 screen resolution. We recommend you can change screen resolution by going to Control Panel>Display>Settings and change the screen resolution to 1024 x 768.
On some pages you will have the Chinese names of songs. If your computer is not seeing it and displaying gibberish characters instead, that means your computer does not have the Chinese language packs installed.
How do I print/save the actual lyrics?
For now the best way to print/save the actual lyrics is to right click on the actual lyrics and you will get a menu to choose save image as or print image. Make sure to change the print properties to Landscape mode when printing. Also, a print icon may appear in the left-hand corner.
Traditional Chinese vs Simplified Chinese?
Unfortunately, the lyrics is based on Traditional
Chinese characters. If the demand is there, we will be doing
Simplified Chinese lyrics as well.
Can
I submit in English translations of songs?
We would love to include English translations of all the
Chinese songs. Currently, we are unable to provide that
service. If you are interested in helping out with the site,
your support in translation will be of great help! If you
have any suggestions, you can email us at: .
What
is a review?
The definition of review in this site's context is used as a "critical evaluation". Critical is analyzing the good and bad points of the particular subject. All reviews are based on personal opinion, so a review is an opinion by the respective writer. Reviews should also be at least a modest length, 2 paragraphs, approximately 10 sentences. If you include more, even better! For example, we would not publish a review that is short, incoherent, and incomprehensible. Please try your best to correct your grammar and spelling before submitting it in to Karazen. The Karazen staff will review all submissions alongside correct grammatical and spelling errors before publishing on to our site. This ensures that reviews maintain a certain degree of quality standard for readers
How
do I submit a review?
Log
in. And then go to the specific section that you
want to submit a review in. Music, Movie, or Hotspots
Review. There will be a link to submit in a review on the
right hand side.
Why are the lyrics only limited to Cantonese and Mandarin?
Currently, our demand is only for these 2 dialects. We currently do not provide lyrics for other Chinese dialects of Mainland China nor Taiwanese Munam. Please understand that we are only trying to make simple the language of the lyric categories. If the language of the song is in Mandarin, we will label it as that. We cannot depict every ethnic or national background for every song, artist or band. That can be done by the reviewers themselves based on opinions.
Where can I purchase the movies and music on your site?
You may click on the links of the album or movie image that leads to Yesasia. As our affiliated sponsor, you will be able to purchase the Karazen featured merchandise with Yesasia. Be sure to always buy your items through Karazen!
